Duties and Responsibilities:
: This position requires geospatial analysis services and support to analytical efforts in the production of intelligence products and reports for publication and distribution to a broad range of customers.
: Operates the multi:spectral imagery production (MSIP) system.
: Analyzes multiple imagery sources, commercial, theater and NTM and proficient in the area of imagery research.
: Reads related topographic data forms.
: Administers the Imagery Intelligence MAAS System and the proper requirements scheduled for finalization, processed and analyzed all source data from airborne, ground based and national collectors, as well as mapping on the GALE system.
: Interprets topographic products such as shaded relief graphics, elevation graphics, slope and line:of:site graphics, route assessments, perspective view generations, bridge and tunnel assessments, urban area assessments, and waterways and river crossing locations and assessments, and the current working procedures for all TF Unmanned Arial Vehicle (UAV) activity.
: Typically requires a bachelors degree and five to seven years experience.
: Requires more than 10 years experience in this field, with advanced knowledge and skills demonstrated in previous work.
: A bachelor degree in a related field may count for up to four years of experience; a masters degree may add 2 additional years.
: A doctorate degree in a field related to the support services may count for up to three years of this experience.
: TS/SCI required.
: Proficiency with digital cartography, image processing, computer technology, geographical information systems (GIS), geospatial production techniques, remote sensing, and photogrammetry.
: Proficiency with ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcView, ArcIMS, ArcTools, the Integrated Exploitation Capability (IEC) system, SocetSet, TerraExplorer/Builder, RemoteView, ERDAS IMAGINE, MRSID, VB/VBA (or some other object oriented programming/scripting language), Oracle and other appropriate software to analyze geospatial data.
: Demonstrated knowledge of commercial imagery, products, processes and sensors.
: Proficiency in using MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and Familiarity with electronic publishing and structured authoring software (SGML, HTML, or XML languages).
: Familiarity with the following data formats: (e.g., DTED, VPF, CIB, ADRG); NGA imagery and geospatial products, data attribution techniques.
: Comfort in working with advanced hardware and software technology and databases.
: Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
: Proficiency with the following applications: Web publishing, and Web hosting technologies, along with Geospatial Database generation/maintenance applications and python scripting.
: Proficiency with ArcGIS 9.x and its component extensions, along with the ability to create tailored scripts; working knowledge of ArcIMS and HTML editing; strong data mining and management skills.
: Demonstrable ability to harness all geospatial tools and techniques with available data to provide relevant and insightful intelligence.
: Expertise in photogrammetry, remote sensing, image processing, or regional expertise is highly desirable.
: Experience as a Geospatial Analyst within the IC/DoD is highly desired as is training and experience in GIS applications and technology.
